Advanced Driver Assist Systems, otherwise known as ADAS are fitted to the majority of vehicles manufactured since 2016.

They are designed to assist the driver and minimize human error while driving thus improving road safety and reducing accidents and injuries.

ADAS systems can include such things as, adaptive cruise control, park assist systems with front and or rear cameras, lane assist, blind spot mirrors, pedestrian crash avoidance, headlight auto dip and automatic headlamps and wipers.

The operation of these systems, if fitted, is vital for the safe use of the vehicle.

The camera and or radar needs to be calibrated following repairs such as component replacement, bodywork to the bumper or camera/radar location, windscreen replacement, wheel alignment and suspension component replacement.

If the system has failed you may see a warning like these.

Some of the components of the system are located in the bumpers and can be damaged as a result of impact and adverse weather conditions.

Wiseman Motor Services is fully equipped to replace damaged or faulty components and carry out precise calibrations to the system to ensure the correct function of the ADAS systems using vehicle manufacturer diagnostic platforms and our state of the art MAHLE digital ADAS calibration equipment.
